The Value, Flow, Quality® fundamentals course covers a diverse range of Agile and Lean frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean Start-up and Extreme Programming. This course recognizes explicitly the diversity of differing contexts: large and small organizations; different countries and business operating contexts, private and public sectors, and in different industries.

This course is presented in four themes. Each theme consists of a set of study materials that introduce a range of related topics. These materials are specifically written for self-study. They present and summarize the views of experts and practitioners from a range of backgrounds. The course also includes further reading in critical material within a Perspectives Book. The written materials are supported by web material, and the course has its own website. This provides the opportunity to discuss course issues with other students worldwide, tutors and members of the course team.
