VFQ’s focus is on the business processes that get ideas to market, or concepts to reality, not on the detail of programming languages, and “best practice” engineering. This is because the management disciplines in developing and delivering products and services are similar across software and non-software environments. Also, every engineering environment is different – from programming languages, infrastructure, integration methods and many other elements. We do cover some core topics that need to be in place to ensure that the products and services being engineered are built correctly, and in a way that remains tolerant to change and speed. But, the detailed training required by developers is better learned from other experts.
