Leading change can be a tough job. Be it a change within your own team or a global enterprise change that affects thousands of people. It becomes tougher when people are not aligned and don’t have clarity on the goal.

Today, organizations are full of buzzwords such as DevOps, Agile, Design Thinking, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, ITIL, Systems Thinking, Product Mindset and Digital to name a few. It has become too hard to understand how they all fit, who should be doing what, and when each should be employed or not. Unfortunately, for the general person, there is too much to learn. It’s completely overwhelming.

The trick is to simplify the message. Hone the goal, the purpose and the change into a set of principles people can interpret and work on themselves. All of the goodness from the methods and frameworks described above will come, and it will result in greater alignment.
