One of the best predictors of how successful a community will still be in the future is how it handles difficulties and challenges now.
Most of us expect difficulties and challenges to result in some negative actions or behaviors. What if the opposite were true? What if we saw difficulties and challenges as opportunities to come together and discover how we might improve and communicate better?
Some of us are quick to dismiss others when they fail but what we need isn’t to be dismissive, but to be deliberate about helping those that fail or let us down to get back up.
We won’t get the best out of people unless we’re willing to support them first and give them the help they need to discover and demonstrate what they’re capable of.
