Welcome to Emergn Portugal.

Who we are

Joao Ferreira
Portugal Location Lead

Wherever you’re based, when you’re part of Emergn you’re part of a diverse international community of friendly, supportive experts – working and sharing without borders.

Working in our Porto office or remotely, you’ll be a key part of a team focused on helping respected international businesses to develop valuable products and customer experiences.

We’ve assembled a talented and highly skilled group to support our Experience Design offering. With people from all over the world, our aim is to create experiences that are effective, meaningful, and delightful. The way we see it, we’re not only designing better products but also establishing the practice of designing for people.

Experience Design puts the user at the center of the product development process. So our clients can generate long-term loyalty and release products people not only want but actively desire.

Outside of work we genuinely enjoy spending time together. You’ll often find us playing brain games. Having Scribble parties with our colleagues across the world. Or sharing our professional passions with like-minded people from our various Emergn communities.

3 ways we give back

We’ll invest in you and your team

You’ll get to work with the latest technologies and innovative working practices through our VFQ philosophy and culture of continuous learning. We also offer a range of personalized learning activities, including internally and externally provided studies and access to professional conferences.

Your wellbeing is important to us

Apart from the great workplace, what our employees in Portugal value the most from our benefit package is healthcare for when you may need it. Your family is important to us too, so we also provide life cover and extended family healthcare benefits too.

We build connections and have fun

Apart from professional belonging, which is beyond borders, we also embrace our local passions and interests. We believe it’s very important to support local activities, organize teambuilding events, and support community building. Last year, while working remotely, we found other ways to build ties across the community. You’ll be invited to participate at several virtual events to meet colleagues outside of your team and have fun together.
