I recently read an article that shared a story about the world famous cellist, Pablo Casals. Even though he is in his eighties, he still practices a few hours each day! When asked why he did so, his response was “Because I think I’m getting better!”

Perhaps that is the most important difference between education and learning. We can receive an education by meeting the requirements, but learning infers an ongoing commitment. The danger is believing we’ve arrived or that the knowledge we have is sufficient to maintain a level or status.
Look for ways to learn more about the work you do and the subject you care most about.
